Okay, so dragging yourself out the house on a wet and windy Tuesday night to go and listen to people talk about parking problems or the like may not seem the most appetising thing in the world, but as a source of local contacts and stories, community councils are brilliant.
Once upon a time, there was a traditional Mongolian Yurt set up inside Trinity Church, Govanhill for a week of stories from different faiths and cultures, which school kids flocked to from all over the land. Well, from all over G42, really.
