Post Office closure confirmed

The Post Office today announced the closure of 24 Post Offices in Glasgow, including the Nithsdale Rd office on Kildrostan St.

This follows a period of public consultation, during which 1,300 people signed a petition to keep the Kildrostan St office open.
The Post Office's press office can't confirm when the closure will happen, just that the programme of 40 closures across the west of Scotland will begin in February. They can't say which will be the first to go.
