Blog Entry
What's a blog? Well, put simply, it's an online diary that you can use to tell people about your life, thoughts, hopes, dreams, hates and likes. You can read one here. Pollokshields ward city councillor David Meikle also has a G41 blog here, as does Andrew M here.

What's the difference between a Blog Entry and a Story? Well, blogs are the place for opinions. In a story, you just tell people the facts about what happened - the Who, What and Where. In a Blog Entry you can tell people a bit more about the Why and talk about what you think and feel about an event or an issue.

People like to read blogs. They're interested in reading what their neighbours think. And remember - you control how much information people have about you. You can have things set so that the only thing people know about you is your username - or you can use your profile page to tell them more about you.

Every user of the G41 and G42 Community Websites can start a blog. It's really easy!
1. In the Navigation block on the left hand side of the page, click on Create Content
2. Then click on Blog Entry
3. Give your Blog Entry a short title in the Title box
4. Give your Blog Entry a tag (see Tags to find out more!)
5. Put the rest of your what you have to say in the Body box
6. Click preview
7. Make sure you're happy. If not, make any changes you want.
8. Click Submit
And that's it. You're a blogger!
