POLLOKSHIELDS POST OFFICE BRANCH® RELOCATES TO BETTER BRIGHTER PREMISES

Post Office Ltd announced today (30 October) that the Pollokshields Post
Office® branch is to relocate into better, brighter premises a short
distance away from its current location.

Post Office Ltd plan to move the Post Office branch around 150 yards from
its current location at 309 Maxwell Drive, Pollokshields, Glasgow, G41 1TD
to new premises located at Shields Superstore, 443 Shields Road,
Pollokshields, Glasgow, G41 1NP.

The current branch will close at 1300hrs on Monday 12 November and the
newly located branch will open at 0900hrs on Wednesday 14 November.
Customers will benefit from a fully up-graded branch with:

Extended opening hours, to remain open lunchtimes from Wednesday to Friday

A brand new, modern, purpose built serving counter, with low level
facilities

There is a flat level entrance for ease of access which will be beneficial
to our customers with mobility constraints

Customers will still be able to access the same range of products and
services as the existing branch

Open plan format offering retail services alongside Post Offoce products
and services

to announce that we will be relocating Pollokshields Post Office branch
into better, brighter new premises.

“The facilities and service that we provide to our customers is of
paramount importance and we are confident that our customers will benefit,
in the longer term, by this change.

“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers
during the short period of closure. However as I am sure you will agree,
the planned improvements to the branch will, in time, compensate for any
disruption caused in the short term.”
