EAST POLLOKSHIELDS & EGLINTON TOLL PLANNING STUDY
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR SAY

The Council are currently in the process of circulating a questionnaire throughout East Pollokshields and Eglinton Toll to assist the preparation of a Planning Study for the area.

Having published a final Draft of City Plan 2 as part of their consultation process in July, the Council are now keen to find out more about what people in Pollokshields and Eglinton Toll think about the planning issues. Accordingly we are inviting as many local residents, businesses and stakeholders to contribute.

Questionnaires will be hand delivered throughout the community; they will be available at the forthcoming Eid on the Drive celebrations and also in public buildings, newsagents, doctor’s surgeries and centres of worship.

In addition, response boxes will be available at various locations together with an a mailbox at Pollokshields@glasgow.gov.uk

I write to you urging seeking your support in the survey and have attached a PDF file of the questionnaire in which you can input your views.

As well as responding to our mailbox I would it would be helpful if you could also assist our survey by creating a ‘chain e- mail’ by forwarding the PDF on to your network of contacts in the area.

I am particularly keen to hear the views of local young people and would encourage them to play their part by placing the questionnaire on their myspace or Bebo sites.
