For some children the start of a new school year gives a sense of familiarity and stability, however for others it can be a daunting time, which can bring anxiety. This is particularly true if it is the start of a year that culminates in important exams. Many pupils will feel nervous and pressurised as demands on them increase.
Whilst talking through problems, identifying troublesome subjects and asking a teacher for extra work can reduce anxiety, many parents are now looking beyond school for additional support in the form of supplementary education.

I am half way through a week in G41, staying with my daughter and visiting my son- both G41 residents. It has been a sunny week and pleasant enough to sit outside. I have been cutting grass and hedges, fitting window locks, clearing up gardens and doing a multitude of other minor jobs. Why dont other residents cut the grass and hedges?
